The friendlyness of the staff and willingness to help you get to places you wanted to go and also advice on places to see and do.
The Rex is a quaint hotel that is within walking distance of of many places and just steps away from a trolly stop. The rooms are clean but small ut perfect for one person or 2 who dont plan on spendind much time in the room. The Rex is also a Blues/Jazz bar and restaurant which can be quite relaxing after a long day of touring the city.

The Rex has an active music life with groups performing nearly every night. Most nights there is a cover charge ranging from 8-15 dollars per person.
To have a quieter sleep, recommend getting a room on the second floor not the first floor due to musical performances.

The vibe of the bar was fantastic, and I
Loved the live jazz performances every night. The noise from the street made it a challenge to sleep, particularly during the early morning hours.
